Litigation Support

I have a client who has a disgruntled IT guy who left without leaving the
Admin authentication.
Instead of going after him, does anyone know of a reset process or CD that
can be used?

I know there is a reset procedure for all other OS admin resets.

Any ideas? A 3.12 burgler.nlm would be fine if we knew it was a proper
file....

I know this is rare, but I figured someone here might have come across this
problem...
PS: Novell 3.12 is too old for Novell to assist.

In the older versions of NetWare such as 286 and 3.x, the process of the install was the "floppy shuffle" that actually configured and complied the server.exe file.
If you can get access to the SERVER.EXE and view it in a hex editor like UltraEdit, then go to the bottom of the file and in plain text is the admin password.

This process does not work in 4, 5 or 6. But there is a debug command
that can be performed at the console (even if locked) that will allow you to reset the password.
