My client is a leading supplier of automated document processing
solutions to the law firms and corporations.

We are seeking a VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES & MARKEING. This role is
responsible for driving Sales & Marketing to achieve company revenue
targets and managing all associated activities. We are seeking a highly
experienced sales leader who can help a growing organization move to the
next plateau. This position is in the Boston, MA area.

Responsibilities:

1. Daily management of 4 person inside sales team - assisting with
calls, proposals and selling strategies
2. Attract, hire and manage team up to 6-10 people for inside
sales. Create systems and tools for ramping up new salespeople on a
regular basis. Prepare for strong sales growth.
3. Evaluate and present Plan of Action for outside sales
activities. Ultimately recruit, train and manage outside sales force.
4. Ensure achievement of sales revenue, according to plan. Assist
in quarterly revenue and budget planning sessions.
5. Create and execute marketing plan, including positioning,
launch, pricing analysis, events and collateral.
6. Create and implement plan for alternate sales channels:
government, industry partnerships, new verticals, etc.
7. Lead sales team as individual sales contributor
8. Interface with Operations & Development groups to suggest
process improvements and new services.
9. Report activity, performance and problems daily, weekly and
monthly to senior management and BOD.

Requirements:

1. Must have at least 10 years experience creating, mentoring, and
running a sales division, including inside sales, outside sales and
consultative/technical sales groups. Strong knowledge of marketing
programs. Ideally, prior P&L responsibility for Marketing department.

2. 5 years in a business-to-business, service-oriented
environment, 5+ years in software or high tech.

3. At least 3 years experience in services delivery, preferably in
some type of document management industry (examples would include
litigation support, records management, file conversion/analysis,
electronic discovery, etc.).

4. Experience selling short-term, high-value, transactional
service delivery
